Good Clipper, shame about the attachments, 3 Oct. 2013

The clipper itself is very good. Good construction and robust, nice feel in the hand as well. Having the ease to be mobile with no wire, means you have more freedom.The charge indictaor means you have an indication of how long you can use the clipper before you need to recharge it.The only problem I have with the clipper are the attachments, they seem less robust. I would be surprised if they don't break within six months. I had the earlier iteration of this clipper and the material of the attachments are the same. Those broke with six months, therefore I am not holding any hope of these lasting any longer than a year.Time will tell if these do live upto my expectations.

Bought this to replace my aging Remington clipper that had done more than a decade of service. It was difficult to find any clippers with good reviews, and I saw nothing that made me think I was going to be replacing like for like. That being said, the trepidation I had when ordering this was unwarranted, the negative reviews not-withstanding.

I use it without any attachments, for my head and face, and have had no problems at all with it - it cuts cleanly and well; I've not had any problems with it catching my hair that others have had - in my experience this is usually due to slightly misaligned blades and simply undoing and then retightening the screws solve the problem (the increased frequency with which I had to do this for my old clipper was one of the reasons for replacing it).

The charge-remaining countdown is nice, though not really essential - I can see how it would be useful if you're about to take it on vacation or something though.

Has charging indicator! Well designed, Great Value, Pro-Quality, 28 Sept. 2013

The charging indicator is so useful. A large led display showing time left. It is an absolutely brilliant feature and considering the RRP, a steal.

Initially, the 'male model' on the box does make me smile! A more 'pudding bowl' and nerdy looking haircut is hard to find. But don't be put off by the guy on the cover. This is a really superb hair clipper.

The charging indicator, the robust feel, the rubber coating, it all feels very high end and expensive. If you saw it in a barber shop you could assume it was worth £150 like some of the well known product made by 'W' can be.

The clipper cuts through my thick hair quietly and efficiently. The plastic attachment combs are a little fiddly and it takes extra care to ensure they are definitely secure. I made an error at first and the comb moved a little. No major damage done.

The charging stand turns this into a professional and classy product and it also has USB facility.
