I bought this six months ago & have clearly given it time to work. I am pale white with black thick hair, before i used the machine I would shave & be left with stubble still as the hair was so course. I have been using the machine on my legs & underarms. I now can go days without needing to shave! & even better when I do shave it is silky smooth! for me that is worth every penny!

I do not find it to be time consuming or over heating to be a problem because i have adapted the approach of doing whilst watching an hour long program of a sunday evening, I will do half a leg during a break, other leg in next break & both armpits during a break. for me this means i never have the issue with over heating and it stops it feeling time consuming or requiring effort. the only slight downside is that you have to apply the machine to your skin in a certain flat position or it will not zap, i have therefore enlisted the help of my partner when doing my armpits. this to be honest does not...

I am over all very happy with this product perhaps because I did not aspect 89% achievement after 1sr session.I did achieve to remove hair on my legs in about 50% so is not bad after 2 sessions.To be fair I am trying full bikini and face(which is parently dont recommend by this product) as I have redness on it. Bikini area is very sensitive and I am not able to put full power on yet so perhaps that slow down whole process I believe but I start to have a bit of paches around so is working.Under arms is about 50% left hair.About Face I must say it helps even still I am bit red but is only 3rd session so still to go at least 3 more times.I will recommend to put some anastetics on bikini or closer sensitive bits thats helps.I am sure everyone is diffrent and it will depence of ur individual skin and hair.Down side with all ipl is before each tretments u have to shave the area so after that I have painfull and itchy spots but is nothing to do with this product is the way how u have to do...

IPL Hair Removal System, 28 Feb. 2012

This system was completeley innefective in hair removal. The unit lacks the required power to destroy the hair follicle. Having used the system for over 4,500 shots on full power to reduce light hair growth on a male chest, the results are inconclusive. I was happy when the device had a defect, so that i could return it.
