This isn't the first IPL unit in our family, we have several and I'm sometimes amazed there's a single functioning follicle left in our household, any brave hair popping out of a pore must find itself zapped within minutes. So you don't have to convince any of us that IPL works, we're smooth proof that it does. If you haven't tried IPL before it's important to understand what it does and does not do - it is not a hair removal system, although it's sometimes referred to as that, and in the beginning you'll still have to shave to prepare the area for treatment. The IPL treatment itself simply deactivates the hair follicle so that it stops growing hair and as long as you keep using the IPL unit (only once every month or two) the hair will not grow again. Note that it takes a few months to achieve total smoothness and if you subsequently stop the treatments the hair will slowly return - although for some people it might grow back softer and finer than before.

Hi, i have been waxing for around 5yrs, before that i would shave, use creams then go back to waxing. I considered laser as i am getting married next year and didnt want to worry about re-growth while i was on my honeymoon. But as everyone knows it is expensive. I researched the remington IPL6000 I light pro and thought.... well lets give it a go, so my fiance bought it for my birthday.I was very pleasantly surprised, after the first treatment i had about 60pc re-growth on the tops of my legs and about 40 on my bottoms . I have just done the second treatment.. 2 weeks after the first.. and now looking forward to a wax free honeymoon! Some users have said about the discomfort but its hardly a pin prick. All in all i would definately recommend this... May i ad that even with waxing i would notice re-growth after 6-7 days but with this it was about 7-8 days and very much finer and weaker.. Best present i have ever had...

Where do i start...

Bear in mind i got this product YESTERDAY .. I will update this so that you can see how i get on BUT

I have pale skin but black coarse hair on my legs, i have been shaing my legs since the age of 7 and i am 30 now and so i have found the hair growth become coarser and coarser.

i use mens razors on my legs and even they dont get them completely smooth and you can see black dots under the skin even when i have just shaved them

it is/was literally plaguing my life

So I got this product and couldnt wait to use it, so today i shaved my legs (they were still a bit rough even after a fresh shave), whacked the strength up to level five and did my lower legs...

afterwards my legs were a bit tingly (and are as we speak) but nothing major, so i felt them with my hands and NO JOKE they are BABY smooth...weird, haven't had this feeling for many a year...

so i really do believe that this product works...
