I am not quite sure what the negative reviewers have been doing with this item but when I use it for its intended purpose of trimming ear, nose and eyebrow hairs, it works very well.

Not as good, 17 May 2013
I bought one of these about 15 years ago. It has just packed up. Bought this as a replacement, it's no where near as good as the original. It probably looks better but the design is awkward to use , the twist switch is a poor substitute for the old on /off switch and it dos'nt seem to be as powerful.

Stuff it up your nose and hair goes! only two minor issues. To turn it on you twist the body, turn it the wrong way and it falls apart to replace the battery - a switch would have been better. the other issue is where to put it - as it doesn't have a flat base you can't stand it up anywhere.Other than that a good device for removing nose critters.
