Excellent Razor!, 1 Feb. 2014
I thought my last Remington (MS2390) was good but this one is even better. I'm back to having a nice close shave and a battery that lasts a long time. I can thoroughly recommend this shaver, especially at the price! I think I paid more for the MS2390 ten years ago!!

Gives a good close shave compared with my previous electric Ph*****s. razors. I purchased a F7800 from Argos as I needed one for immediate use, while one required was for travelling. Once "Run in" (used several times) they worked very well. I found many years ago, to apply a dab of moisturiser prior to shaving. (leave to soak in before shaving).Both razors ( F5800 & the F7800) use the same replacement heads/ cutters which I also got as spare from Amazon for £16 .Recommended.

PROS:

Gives me a good close shave, consistent all over (until the foil & cutters need replacing - see Cons below).

Good wide trimmer for sideburns.

Easy to clean out old stubble with the provided brush. Inside the top of the shaver, after you've removed the foil, is metal which the stubble doesn't stick to like I've found it does on shavers that are just plastic inside.

Up to 6 shaves per charge. LED indicator gives some idea of how much charge you have left, red light warns when it needs recharging.

Replacement foil & cutter cheaper than those for Braun shavers. This was a major deciding factor in my choice of make.

Overall, looks like its going to last a while and not wear out or fall to pieces after just a couple of years, like my previous Braun ones did.

CONS:

Noticeable deterioration in quality of shave from 9 months onwards. At 11 months I'm only getting 5 shaves per charge because it's taking longer, and I'm having to buy new foil &...
