I'd describe the colour as more pink than peach, with quite a lot of glitter, on pale skin the colour almost vanishes on the lips leaving a very sparky effect. Its quite moisturising like a cross between lip gloss and balm. It didn't have a strong taste. On a teenager it looked great, on 50+ skin better as an evening colour than day time, due to the sparkle.
The label on the lipstick peels back to reveal the ingredients, handy if you have any allergies. I counted in excess of 30 ingredients, many of them common in cosmetics including beeswax, silica, shea butter, colours red and yellow lakes. The end of the lip stick cover is transparent a small thing but it means you can see the colour without having to remove the lid.
A couple of negatives :-
Contains carmine which is red derived from insects which would make the product unsuitable for vegetarians.
The lipstick is not very long lasting had vanished after 4 hours wearing with only chatting, no eating...

That little niggle aside, though, it really is a gorgeous lipstick (once you've battled it open...) There's something about lipsticks that gives an instant feel good vibe, it's not just the wearing of, but the look, the feel, even the smell of it as you open it. A good lipstick can lift your spirits and make you feel fabulous. Revlon Colorburst has all the feelgood factors; the vintage look, a thick, creamy lustre as you twist it upwards and such a lovely smell which reminds me of pick n' mix sweets in the 1970s, I think this lipstick has a smell like white chocolate mice but that may just be me. It goes on beautifully with good definition and with this shade I haven't...
