NOT HAPPY!!!, 29 Mar. 2015

This is my Usual go to Foundation, The Coverage is Amazing and You Don't

Have to Keep Reapplying,- Unlike The Loreal Infallible I Was Using For a Few Years Before I Found This.-

I Suffer With Acne/Scaring and it Blends and Evens Things Out Brilliantly,

Yeah, Well Normally it Does......

I Have a Problem, This Product I Purchased is Completely Different to How it Usually is,

it's Really Runny/Watery in Consistency and Goes on The Skin so Wet and Greasy, it's Gross, and Looks Gross!

I've Been Using This Revlon Product For Over 3 Years Now And I've Never Had a Bottle Like This!

it Has Also a Strange Horrible Smell to it!

The Advertisement Here States it is The 24hr Coverage Product, Which is a Lie.

It Actually Says 16hrs Coverage on The Bottle.

I Purchased 2 of These Whilst I Still Had Some in my Current (Genuine) Bottle.

The Labels Are Totally Different to The One I Already Have.

Upon Futher Inspection I See...

Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Normal/Dry Skin, 29 Jan. 2015

Wow! Apologies for the superlative I just used, but this is indeed a fantastic product and no, it's not because I was given a freebie to review. I've used Revlon ColorStay foundations before and found them to provide excellent coverage without streaks or stripes. I usually use a Superdrug MUA complexion base most days because it's really easy to use and doesn't take too long to apply in the morning when I'm half-asleep, but I'm going to be using this product until the bottle runs out(!) I normally find matching a foundation shade to my light/medium skintone really difficult and didn't use liquid foundations for years because of this reason, but I was given the '150 Buff Chamois' shade (which probably equates to a buff goat in English?') and it's a perfect match for my winter skin tone. I also have normal/dry skin with a slight tendency for oiliness around the T-Zone and I sport a couple of spots during certain times of the month.

I applied it to my face in three...

Sheer Glow for half of the price..., 25 Jan. 2015
Colourstay gives me the same feel, wear, and the finish as NARS Sheer Glow; it applies semi-matte, yet still gives my skin a silky and glowy finish - and given my lacklustre skin tone, I think this is close to miraculous! Best of all is that this formulation of Colourstay feels light on my dry skin and is so easy to build up for complete coverage. Plus there are no patches of dry skin at the end of the day. And, as the name suggests, it wears really well too, I can easily go a full day without needing any touch ups.Are there any bad points? I generally prefer foundation bottles to have pumps - it's more hygienic. And whilst this is in no way the most expensive foundation out there, it is a lot more then I normally pay for a drugstore brand of foundation. But, those little niggles aside, this is now my HG foundation, and is definitely something that I'll be rebuying.
