Honey, honey. Sugar, sugar., 27 Jan. 2015
HONEY is a well-pigmented glossy, mauve-based nude shade; it is almost the same shade as my natural lip colour - just a teensy bit darker. It has proven to be a very wearable shade for me; it can be worn all year round, and it goes with all of my preferred eye makeup looks. I think that it is a similar shade to one of my favourite lipsticks - NARS Catfight. My lips have been kept hydrated and flake free during cold weather and central heating, since using Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain. And, true to it's name, not only is it a effective balm, but the colour actually does wear like a traditionally drying lip stain - it stays put for hours, through both eating and drinking.Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stains are in the top 3 for my favourite lip products. They remind me somewhat of Tarte's Lip Surgences, but these are better as they wear longer, don't melt in the tube and the caps don't crack, making a mess in my bags.

perfect colour, 25 Aug. 2012
I bought this product expecting it to be too dark, but it's perfect for a fair skin tone. It brings colour to your lips without being over dark and looking awful. Also it hydrates your lips and makes them feel amazingly soft! It really adds another dimension to your look! It is quite expensive, but it is so worth it.

Refreshingly livened up lips, 26 Jan. 2015

This is my first experience with the Revlon Colourburst Balm Stain and I love it! There’s over an inch worth of product in the retractable crayon looking pen and I was surprised at just how little seems to be used with each application. The colour Honey is pinker than I expected but it’s not actually too far off my natural lip colour. It’s not like applying Vaseline though as there is a visible colour applied but not quite as intense as a lipstick. It also has quite a minty scent (probably the peppermint oil) and taste to it if you do lick your lips. I’m not a fan of mint but it’s not off putting.

If you find your lips get quite dry like mine do then this could be a great alternative to lipstick – especially in winter. I do find I have to re-apply it several times a day as I have a habit of licking my lips but it helps to keep moisture in so my lips don’t feel as dry at the end of the day. I definitely will be considering some of...
