I have hair down that goes all the way down my back so it takes a long time to try, air-drying can take over 24 hours. My hair is also naturally curly, but I prefer it straight so I spend a lot of time styling it. Normally this starts with a hair dryer and paddle brush, if you've ever tried to blow dry your hair straight you'll know how awkward it is to hold brush and dryer at the same time, especially if your hair is as long as mine!

With the Revlon Perfectionist 2in1 Dryer my life just got a lot easier.

I can blow dry my hair straight using only one tool, which means no more awkward positions or dropping the brush on my foot!

This dryer not only makes life easier, compared to my conventional hair dryer and brush it cut drying time by half, taking me just 20 minutes instead of nearly an hour. Because it left my hair smooth, shiny and straight it means that I spend less time styling with a straightener afterwards.

This is a two in one hair drier and brush, which is ideal if you find it a little too cumbersome to hold your drier in one hand and a brush in the other. If you have short hair this might not be too much of a problem, but if you have long hair that takes a long time to dry, you might find this to be more useful. The drier itself is like an elongated hair brush, rather than being like a traditional hair drier but it isn't too heavy to hold or awkward to angle around your head. If you have thicker hair, you'll need to turn up the power setting - of which there are three levels - or else you might find that you don't get evenly dry hair. Otherwise, this is a time saver and a handy gadget to add to your collection.

The idea of a combined hairdryer and hairbrush is a strange one to me (I don't see what the problem is with holding a hairbrush in one hand and a hairdryer in the other), but my wife and eldest daughter, both of whom have long thin hair were quick to inform me that it's a really good thing, as it lets you be more precise over where you dry and brush at the same time. Or something like that. Anyway, they were both very pleased to get to try this Revlon 2-in-1 dryer/hairbrush.

The unit itself is a slightly odd shape - more of a hairbrush with a wide handle being the body of the dryer, than a traditional hairdryer shape. The cord is sufficiently long (my wife and daughter tell me) that it's not restrictive, so they don't have to use it with their heads inches from the power socket.
