Excellent lipstick, 26 Jan. 2015

Very impressed with feel of this lipstick on the lips. I always find them either gloppy or dry - especially the ones claiming to be long lasting. As a result I usually can't resist moistening my lips until it's gone. Not so this time. I could hardly tell that I had this one on, which is especially impressive as it is a matt finish. It lasted better than most - lost hardly any colour after a cup of tea, but after lunch and another cup of tea it was almost gone. The top of the tube is clear so that you can see the real colour of the lipstick before opening it - very useful as you could return it if not suitable. I tried number 415 Pink in the Afternoon - a good pink/coral nearly nude if you are fair or medium fair.

A nice bright pink with a creamy and nourishing feel to it..., 8 Feb. 2015

The Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick (Pink In The Afternoon) is a stick of rich and quite bright pink lipstick.

THE PACKAGING:

The lipstick comes in a standard looking lipstick holder with a 'classic' looking gloss black and gold plastic casing.

THE PRODUCT:

The lipstick is a very delicate colour. Applying the lipstick it goes on like a standard formula, but with a slightly 'creamier' feel to it than other, richer lip colours have. There's a nourishing sensation as the lipstick is applied (although how much nourishment the lipstick actually offers is probably open to debate). After application the colour lasts really quite well, maintaining its bright pink colour with very little reapplication required.

SUMMARY:

All in all the lipstick has proven to be a particularly good one. The colour it offers is bright, but still quite a delicate shade against its otherwise rich and creamy depth. The...

First of all, the shade of pink is different from that shown in the photo. It's a light, coral pink so please bear this in mind. If you look at the other photos available for this product, you should see a true representation of the colour.I am not convinced about the shade for myself (I am pale with blonde hair and blue eyes). However, it's a very good quality lipstick. It is easy to apply, and feels rich and comfortable to wear. It also lasts well. My lips have a tendency to get dried out,and this lipstick does not dry them out. It adds a protective element. I'd definitely buy other colours from this lipstick range.
