I used dark tulip on previously bleached hair that was then dyed a dark red, it was a mix of ginger/red and dark brown.
I obviously didn't expect the dark tulip to dye the dark brown, at most I expected a tulip glow in the sun, however it didn't even manage to dye the ginger or red hair.
It made my hair go a very dark brown with a slight burgundy glow when a torch was shone on it, other than that it looked as though I'd dyed my hair dark and in certain areas the dye didn't even take to my hair at all.
Thankfully I only tested it on an area of my hair instead of the whole head, having looked at the reviews it seems other people have had similar issues.
I wouldn't recommend this hair dye as it seems to be hit and miss which is a shame as the colours are beautiful, if you really want to try it then I'd definitely recommend doing a test on a small section of hair.
