A beauty staple, 2 Jan. 2013
This is an edited review, my original review is below marked by ***.At first I was pleased with this; inexpensive, good solid colour, easy to apply and seemed to last well. Unfortunately this impression did not last. This is not at all waterproof as advertised, it runs at the slightest suggestion of moisture. If your eyes tear up (crying, hayfever) or you are in wet conditions (rain, taking a shower/bath) you will end up looking as though someone has poured black ink over your eyes, it's a real mess! For this reason I have marked it down from five stars to three.I will go back to using Shu Uemura's painting eyeliner in black. That never budges, no matter how wet it gets.***This is so easy to apply, it simply glides on and the tip is small enough to allow for precise application. Lasts very well on my skin. The price is great and this is such an essential item. Highly recommended!

Smooth and soft application, 16 Jun. 2015

I'm always looking for new colours and new liners to try out so was looking forward to trying out something a bit different. I must confess that I am a bit of a convert to liquid brush liners for the ease of use except for inside the water line where I tend to use a pencil so going back to trying a pencil for it all after quite a while being set in my ways was interesting. Now without sounding snobbish I tend to steer clear from the cheaper brands such as rimmel as historically I have found they tend to be very hard and irritated my eyes. I was pleasantly surprised, this pencil has a waxy soft and smooth feel when applying and goes on easily - without pulling the delicate skin around the eyes. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to sit on the water line (which is where I usually try to use colours other than black and brown) at all so pretty useless on this front. Colour wise it is a greyish blue as the name suggests with a bit of a silver sheen to it. Very pretty. One star down as staying...

Excellent value for money, 25 Dec. 2015
Excellent value for money, with great colour depth. It's gentle to apply to the eye area, and the richness of colour means you only need to line the eyes once. I found that I couldn't rim my inner eyes like you can with black kohl, so mainly use it as a soft, smudgy eyeliner for the outer lashes. One thing to note though, I found that the colour tended to smudge a lot under my eyes. So either powder well or start loving the panda look!
