Poor.....not what it used to be, 12 Mar. 2015

I tried to write this review on the official Rimmel website, but they have not published it, probably because it was so negative.

I've been using this Rimmel eyeliner for many many years, and lately (2 years or so) I've noticed that it has been deteriorating in quality).

Before it used to last me at least 6 months, never dried out, with a very good quality brush. I could happily say that it could rival any expensive designer brand.

However, now the pot seems to be finished with a month or two, the brush is worn out after very few uses, and the price seems to be going up. up, up!

I am not writing this review after just one use, I have tried the product over and over again, and it just isn't what it used to be.

Thus, I've decided to change brands. I also found the same poor deteriorating quality with their nail varnishes.

I actually wrote to Rimmel and didn't really receive a clear explanation, so it seems they are not...

I bought this as I started taking my baby swimming and didn't want to end up with make up all over my face, with this on she can splash me all she likes and it remains! It's good to be able to wear make up still to liven up tired eyes!

Great eyeliner for the price, 19 Dec. 2014

I like doing a winged eyeliner from time to time and thought I'd try this. It has quite a watery texture which I'm not used to so it took me a while to get the application right. I've tried other eyeliners in black that turn out to be a touch grey but this is truly black and glossy. The tip does make it easy to draw the line on though it's not super-super sharp. It's been a few months since I started using it and the tip is still good but sometimes there's a tiny fibre that pokes out and needs pulling.I knocked off a star because it isn't quite smudge proof, if I rub my eyes a little there's transfer on my finger but it doesn't fade throughout the day if I leave it alone. I would also prefer that it had a sticker seal so I know it hasn't been open and used before. I probably would repurchase this is I can't find a better alternative (at a similar price point) because it does the job well.
