Barely green, 29 Jun. 2014

I bought that product because I thought emerald green would be a great colour to have as an eyeliner.Well it is mainly black with some slight green pigments. I asked my boyfriend "what colour is my eye liner?" and the answer he gave me was "black".So if you're looking for a real emerald green eyeliner, don't buy this product.

The first thing you notice about this kit is just how good the brush is, it is firm enough to keep its form when in use and not splay out and spread the gel where you don't want it, but soft enough to be gentle on your sensitive eyelids.

The gel is more a cream consistency than the name gel suggests, but it is a good true black and goes on very well.

I have found the best way to put it on is to get a small amount on the brush and then dab it on to the eyelid close to my lashes, rather than sweep. I start in the middle of my eye and work my way to the ends, once I have dabbed the gel along the eye I then use the brush to sweep across this line to blend it together into a smooth line.

This way I get a nice even line that has the same colour ( no thin bits where my skin shows through) and thickness. I then brush a little powder over the top of it to set it so it stays put all day long.

Removing is easily done with a make up wipe or eye make up remover on a bit of...

God where have I been? Can't believe I have been using pencils for so long - believe everyone when they say the brush is EXCELLENT because it is, don't worry if you are not great at creating smooth lines as you WILL WITH THIS. I put it on at 06.40am and it is still perfect when I get home after 19.00pm - not even a smudge or any sign of fading (i'm used to having to re-applying every couple of hours after finding there's none left on my eyes)NO MORE - Thnakyou Rimmel for an ace product, goes excellent with wake me up foundation and scandal eyes Mascara btw!!
