Lovely for a smokey eye!, 31 May 2016
I have to say I wasn't sure about a doubled ended liner as sometimes you end up with less of everything. The liner tip is the shape of a crayon and it is very very soft! I used it to line the upper eyelid and you do need to be careful because it smudges so easily. It is lovely to apply because it doesn't drag on the skin at all. Because the tip is more like a crayon, eventually the nib will lose it's point which is already quite wide. If you need a liner for a very tight line I probably wouldn't recommend this. The eyeshadow side is probably my favorite part of this. Super soft and the colour is like a dark sparkly grey - lovely. The tip is rounded and easy to apply. I put it over the top of the liner to soften the line. It looks really good so I would easily buy one of these.

An amazing product for smokey eyes with a hint of blue! Perfect for brown eyes., 15 Jun. 2016

When it comes to makeup..... I've tried so many brands. My favs range from L'oreal to Mac and considering that I think Rimmel has really stepped up it's game I think it's a definite contender for affordable but quality makeup.

I've read the reviews and I can see why people think that the pencils glide to quickly. But personally I think it allows you to blend really well. The trick really is to get a brush. Like any eyeshadow you wouldn't put it on with your finger, so I'm not sure why there is this misconception to apply and go.

I applied the black (Which I would say is more of a gunpowder black / dark grey) first. I started in the crease and blended. I then applied more and blended with a blending brush again. I then used the blue liner as the eyeliner. Also applying a small amount under the lower lash in the corner.

Afterwards I applied a tiny bit of cream glittery eyeshadow to the inner corners of each eye. Please see photos.

Overall this...

Lovely royal blue liner that would suit every skin colour. Shadow is a darker, smoky blue/grey that smudges beautifully., 15 Jun. 2016

The liner part of this looks like a kids' crayon and goes on like a felt tip. It lined my lids quickly and easily, in a fairly thick line (you'd get much thinner with a gel pen) that didn't need retouching. I particularly liked this as I'm short-sighted and normally have trouble with gel liners, but this was so, so much easier to apply and barely needed any retouching - just a bit of wiping where my hand shook a little. I like the Cleopatra look, and this was pretty much perfect.

The shadow goes on equally easily, with very little rubbing or flaking, and the colours complemented each other beautifully.

To get more of each side, you just need to twist a little, and if you've twisted too much, you can reverse this and each side retracts. I can see this lasting a fair bit, especially as the product feels really solid and sturdy.

It lasts pretty well - I applied both at about 3pm and as I write this, some 7hrs later, both are looking as good as when I put...
