This set is superbly well constructed and will delight product design fetishists everywhere. The individual elements are all beautifully balanced and have an attractive matte finish. The tweezers and all three scissor variants are ergonomically designed; they function extremely well and are likely to continue doing so for many years to come as the Ringlock mechanism will ensure they do not go out of alignment. The colour coding is useful but will not necessarily prevent my partner from using 'my' scissors - or me from using 'his' tweezers. Since I got this item, it's been proudly displayed on the bathroom window sill as I enjoy looking at it it's so perfect. However, as we have a very small bathroom and space is at a premium I think at some point soon we may need to put the stand away and just use the scissors. Don't be deterred on this basis from buying with confidence - our bathroom is unusually tiny and an average sized bathroom would accommodate this set easily. One observation...
