I'm so glad I found this! I got it as a gift and now that I found it here I've been sending my friends to buy. This works with any cleanser, use one that works best on your skin type. For the price, this works very very well. I have dry skin and my sister has oily skin, and we both use ours with different cleansers, but the effect is just as great for both of us. For dry skin, it is perfect for exfoliating and for oily skin, it takes care of the blemishes and excess oil. In both cases, it leaves your skin smooth and your makeup goes on much easier and doesn't collect and blotch in spots.
For the price, this is a great cleanser. I was looking at the Clearsonic, but this is a good substitute if you can't afford to put out the money. You don't need a heavy touch, gliding this over your skin works, and I don't recommend grinding it into your skin or staying on one spot too long. Spend about 2-3 minutes going over your whole face. I think this is a more or less direct rip-off of the Clarisonic system, but much cheaper. And good for them (Rio) for doing so - it is an excellent product!

**I am a bit obsessive about skincare, and have tried pretty much every product on the market. This is one of the very few items available for home use that actually seems to make a noticeable difference in skin condition. I have skin that tends to greasiness, and formation of blackheads and milia. I get regular salon facials and use all sorts of aggressive skin care products at home, and yet it never seems possible (or at least, has not until now) to get rid of the layer of sticky skin cells that adheres the to top layer of my skin. I think anyone who has had significant acne will know what I am talking about - you scratch your skin, even after a vigorous scrubbing, and there is a greasy white-ish paste that collects under your fingernails. Even if you scrub your skin raw, it still seems to be there...

After using this product for two weeks, I feel that it's time I give the Rio Sonicleanse the review it deserves. On the first use, I was absolutely amazed - I actually saw whiteheads being removed from my pores! My skin felt almost 'squeaky clean' but without being dry or tight, and my serums and moisturisers absorbed more quickly and thoroughly.
With having oily skin, I use it in the morning and evening after applying my usual cleanser to my face with my fingers. As the days went on, the blackheads in my nose were disappearing, and the clogged pores on my cheeks were really being cleaned and became less noticeable. And my face feels very, very, soft!
After about ten days I put my least favourite liquid foundation on and was surprised at how it glided on my face much easier and didn't give me the usual 'cakey' appearance. This was definitely attributed to the improvements to my skin mentioned above, including a couple rough/dry patches being brushed...
