Evocative of good times past., 25 Feb. 2012

It is amazing how a fragrance can bring to mind happy times in your life. Madame Rochas was the first 'grown up' perfume that my Papa ever bought me (I still have the empty bottle 30+ years later). Although I don't particularly care for floral perfumes now, I still adore this one as it is 'soft' and cocoons you in a warm, happy kind of place. Yes, I suppose I am being sentimental as I lost my Papa when I was quite young. Now when my husband buys me this perfume I have different reasons for liking it.The perfume is called after the lady herself..............some may say how egotistical of her but why shouldn't she have her name appended to such a beautiful scent?The perfume is as feminine as the bottle looks and I like to wear it both daytime and evenings. My only sadness is that you can never find it in proper perfume form only EDT or occasionally EDP.Highly recommended for teenagers who can appreciate fine fragrance or for ladies of any age.

I started wearing Madame Rochas in 1974 but havent been able to buy it either in shops or duty free for ages so i was thrilled to discover it on Amazon. I love it and have had lots of compliments since I started wearing it again!

I was very very pleased with the ease of purchase and swift delivery. This was a birthday gift for a friend and It arrived very quickly and was very good value.
