I'm delighted with this product. I am severely allergic to PPD in hair dyes. Therefore, I can only use hair dyes which are free from PPD (these are nor freely available (only one health shop - (H&B) sells this dye).So, I tried the Root Cover Up by DEXE. I feel that it's changed my life. I can go out and folks can't tell that I have merely covered my greys. Thank you. I can vouch for a positive experience.Just one word of advice- the colour pad becomes quite powdery after a few uses, so be careful about where you put the colour on as my carpet's got marks on it that I can't remove.

A handy little device. I have this crazy looking grey bit on my fringe and this little accessory does just the trick in covering it up. A little care is needed in application (ie you're not painting a wall) but after a couple of trial runs we were there. Well worth it.

A Simple but Effective Solution for Greying Hairs, 28 April 2015

I suppose that this is a modern day alternative/equivalent to what my father used to use back in the eighties, Grecian 2000, to hide the ever spreading grey hairs on his head. This product is made of an ultra-fine, silvery black coloured, water-resistant, microfibre powder compound, which you apply to grey areas in your hair, using the supplied dual-tipped brush. The ingredients of the compound include, inter alia, talc, mica, starch and lanolin. The brush has a smaller 0.3 inch soft bristle head and a larger 0.75 inch bristle head.

If you rub your finger through the powder compound, it looks and feels quite like a black shoe polish. It's a very clingy substance, and once it's on your finger you can't just rub it off, it needs to be washed off, and even then, it takes a very vigorous wash to remove all the compound from the skin.

At the age of 47, I find more and more grey hairs appearing on my head - I have black hair - and...
