Luxurious talc, wonderful smell, tiny quantity, how do you use the dispenser?, 26 Aug. 2012

I bought this for myself - I knew the talcum would be good because of the brand, and although the weight of the talc was clearly stated on the item description, grams don't mean anything to me, still being an ounces person. I was shocked at the minuscule amount of talc in the bottom of the box - about 2 tablespoonfuls. Inside the round box, which is very pretty and easy enough to open, is a round, transparent, plastic, inner container, only about an inch high, with a plastic, transparent lid which is perforated, with a peel-off disc. Above that sits the lovely powder puff. I remember talcum like this from my mother having a similar set-up, in the 60s. I remember she didn't know what you were supposed to do with the plastic part with the holes in. I found the same problem. There are no instructions, so I tried dabbing the holes with the powder puff , which resulted in about enough talcum on the powder puff to literally powder the end of my nose. I tried turning the close box...

Lovely smelling talc in cardboard type container with puff. Opens easily & very nice scent and soft sponge/puff. Great container for use after talc is finished.For anyone that likes the smell of roses this is a must.
