works well for oils. if you dont want to use a lot of product, you need to prime it first, i assume to create a vacuum inside. you do this by filling with a little water or other, and pump out the air until it flows. I use these for massage oils, dispensing a controlled amount easily. I like them. very handy for decanting messy products for travel. will buy more.
