A beautiful scent for both sexes., 2 Jun. 2015

I ordered a few perfume oils from the seller 'al-aneeq' and included in my order were a couple of samples (1ml I think), including Oud Sahara. I had picked the three perfumes I paid for based on reviews and notes I know I like, but I was blown away the most by the sample of this one! It's a beautiful, smoky, woody, resiny fragrance. It has serious staying power and mellows out within an hour or so into a predominantly smoky frankincense scent.

I absolutely love it, even though it's not something I would have chosen for myself. I'll definitely be ordering a bigger bottle once the sample runs out (which might take a while as you really only need the tiniest dab for full effect). I think I might finally have found THE scent for me, after years of searching.

One word of warning though: if you like floral, feminine scents, this won't be for you. It has a distinctly masculine air to it, I think it's the resin and a hint of leather. Once the initial citrusy notes...

I ordered a full size jasmine oil. I received a sample of this one and it's beautiful. Will probably order a full size when sample runs out. Great smell for autumn winter.A masculine scent or for ladies who like to make a bold statement!

A very sophisticated fragrance, very woody and with earthy undertones that sweeten as the scent develops on the skin. It lasts quite well but isn't one that persists for days (like some) so is a lovely one for a dab in the morning that will last most of the day.I'm fond of oud-wood style perfumes but they're quite masculine, so perhaps not for the woman who prefers florals.
