Very poor fragrance strength, feeble. Suspicious of a fake see photo, 9 May 2014

Disappointed. Although arrived in nice pink packaging and in a cellophane wrap I couldn't believe the feebleness of the fragrance strength. After good spray on wrists it was barely there to begin with and totally gone within the hour. Shame as very feminine fragrance but sadly poor quality, even for the £15 cost. Someone wrote this smell is similar to Narciso Rodriguez, I can see maybe a 5pc similarity. Can't recommend. See photo as I believe this is a fake or at best a faulty batch item.Note grey ribbon is missing from the neck of the bottle. Also the batch number which should be printed at the bottom of the box is missing which is there on the original box(on the white label). Compare my photo with one that Amazon have supplied. Please do not buy.

Fragrance is such a personal thing that it's difficult to describe why you like it or not. All I can say is that 'Lovely', for me, is a beautiful, rich fragrance that is classic, feminine and very classy.

I don't usually buy into the whole 'celebrity' perfume thing either and initially I resisted this perfume, until an assistant one day insisted that I take a sample stick from her and told me it was 'Lovely' by SJP.

I was looking for a new perfume for my wedding day, so I took it upon myself to sample as many as possible before purchasing that special scent for my special day (I know it sounds corny, but I must admit, I did!). This is the perfume that won the job.

So for me, 'Lovely' takes me back to (what turned out to be) a magical and beautiful day, so it's special to me in that sense, but it's also just a jolly 'Lovely' smell (hee hee). I can't see me ever getting bored with it, as some perfumes do tend to become stale with time, but I think this one will always be...
