If this is the original Topsytail which I think it is, then it's a great little device and I've had mine over twenty years. It is easy to use and ideal for hair of all thicknesses. For those who wrote that it didn't work well with thick hair, the secret is not to tighten your ponytail too close to the scalp. You need some room for your hair to fold back on itself. You can tighten the ponytail after removing the tool if need be. Also, sometimes the tool won't pull through if one or two hairs have caught the wrong way in the ponytail/device. It's happened to me - you only need to remove the tool and reposition it, then pull through. Ideal for styling long hair simply, yet making it look special and stylish.

Got fed up with my hair always looking the same so I thought I would try something different. It is so easy to use and can make your hair look like you've spent ages on it when in fact it takes only seconds to do. Its made of plastic but is strong enough to use on thick hair.

Perfect for my little girls.

As a dad with 2 girls (6 and 5) I needed something that would help me compete with the super mums at school who braid their daughters hair in different styles every day. Luckily my girls are brilliant and anything that I manage to do for them they say looks great. However, the Topsytail helps me get to a slightly higher grade of ponytail.

I followed the instructions and sneaked a peek on youtube (hundreds of videos) and managed to send them to school looking perfect (in my eyes). Nice ponytails that still look like they belong on little girls.

It is very simple to use - my girls preferred style is for me to do a low ponytail, tie it with a bobble and then loop the hair through the Topsytail and pull through. TIghten the bobble. Done. This gives a finish similiar to the one on the packet cover.

They seem (1 large 1 small) well made and tough and they don't pull on the girls hair when I use them...
