Quick dry, high shine, rock hard top coat, 16 Jan. 2015

Due to a connective tissue disorder, my nails have always been very weak, tearing and breaking constantly. I was a nail technician for a few years and my nails took a regular beating as we used files rather than drills in those days, after that I wore acrylics for years but ended up with severe pocket separation and can no longer wear acrylics, tips or shellac, I'm lucky I can even wear polish. I miss my acrylics but have found a way to get the same look by using two coats of non UV gel, two coats of colour and Seche Vite top coat. My polish lasts nearly two weeks this way and looks salon fresh for a week. Only Seche Vite seems to work. It gives a glossy shine, dries every layer thoroughly and prevents chipping and peeling. It is easily the best I have used without the need for UV curing. I have noticed if I don't prepare my nails using a buffer, it doesn't last anywhere near as long. I also bought the Seche Vite thinner as it does get really gloopy and therefore useless after...

I have been using this for a few years and it is 7* stuff! It gives a sparkling shine to your manicure and makes it last about a week - (thats with actually using your hands normally)much longer on toes.If I don't put polish on my fingers I use it as a clear gloss because it stops them flaking and looks super glossy and natural.You can put it onto wet varnish and it dries it within a minute, allowing you to get on with your life!Fantastic stuff- and half the price on amazon to any other UK site! LOVE IT!

I like to have nice nails - I have a very professional job and my nails looking groomed is really important to me.

However outside of work I do not treat my hands or nails with any respect at all........they get used to open things/pick at things/scrabble in the dirt whilst gardening/wash pots etc etc. So I am dreadful at chipping nail polish and damaging nails.

This stuff smells like glue - epoxy resin to be precise so I was a bit concerned about putting it on the ends of my fingers that aside this stuff is TOUGH!!! since painting my nails a striking blue colour my fingers have done approx 15 bowls of washing up without gloves (must remember to put them on!)fixed a security light, picked a roof grill off by plying it with my nails plus all the usual disrepectful things I do with my finger tips.....and not one chip! Most last a day or two if I am lucky but so far 4 days and not one chip or even wearing at the ends......WOW!
