In recent times it has attracted attention because of its nutritional content and health benefits associated with its antioxidants. Cacao butter is the oil content of the cacao bean. It contains several beneficial saturated fats such as Palmitic Acid. It is used primarily as an ingredient in chocolate, as well as a core ingredient in skin care products. It has a delicate chocolate flavour and a light texture. When mixed with a lightweight oil it makes an interesting baking ingredient.
