Shockwaves Ultra Strong Rock and Hold Gel Spray, 6 Dec. 2017

This is a smallish bottle of Gel Spray (150ml). It looks, and feels, like a normal hairspray, in terms of how you spray it on. However, it adds structure and definition to hair and so is part of the styling process, rather than just holding the style.The spray washes out very easily. Also, I accidentally sprayed this directly into my eye by mistake, when I first opened the bottle and can report it had no ill effects – in fact, apart from the initial shock of spraying myself, it never even stung. I am not suggesting you try this, but I was fairly impressed (and relieved!) that it gave me no ill effects.

Fantastic hair gel for elaborate styles ... it's strong and lasts well for hours upon hours., 19 Dec. 2017

I really like this Shockwaves Ultra Strong Rock and Hold Gel Styler … it really gives an incredibly strong hold and it lasts and lasts.

Simple to use … wash your hair as normal, then apply this gel and style as you wish. I would suggest that you try a small amount of gel first and add more if needed as it is a very strong holding gel.

Scent wise it is pleasant and not overpowering as some gels that I have used in the past, also this gel washes out easily with shampoo and warm water.

One of my sons (as a teenager) has always styled his hair using gel and over the years he has had a multitude of cuts and styles … at present he sports a fade at the back and sides with much longer hair on top. He has given this gel a try in place of his usual clay and he was really quite impressed. It held his style in place for a good seven hours and he said his hair didn't feel to sticky either something he dislikes about most gels that he has tried in the past...

But It is better when you want a stronger hold. It's quite strong particularly if you want that strong spiky look. And it holds for ages too.
