The Japanese spent some time on this curler researching the best angle which resulted in an improved design for ultimate precision for the perfectly curled lashes. The curved angle is unique for this particular eyelash curler - it suits the variety of eye shapes, plus the silicon pad (and replacement pad, which is included) is soft and durable.

I tried a variety of eyelash curlers from Body Shop to MAC (including numerous unknown brands), and let me tell you this, for over 5 years now I am using this "magic wand"! I wash it every other week and wipe it clean after every use, and I had never bought a replacement silicon pad. But it all works fine! My eyes' shapes are slightly different from one another but this curler works on both of my eyes just fine.

My know-how: I usually apply mascara and wait for about 30 seconds or more before curling the eyelashes. I know some people claim that it breaks and damages the eyelashes, but it works fine for me. Plus the curls...

Appalled!!! Disappointed!!!! Upset!!!! Cannot believe Amazon sell fake products! I am gob smacked and returned the minute I inspected them and compared them to my faithful and genuine Shu Uemura curlers, i then repackaged, contacted Amazon and sent them back! I have ordered directly from Shu Uemura now to assure that i get what I want! TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! Not worth saving £5!!!! Pay £20 and get the genuine article from Shu Uemura!
