I have had the green version of this and this purple one ne is quicker. I have been using the silk n glide for two years and have seen a considerable reduction in hair growth. I have had to continue using it all that time though, which I wasn't expecting to do when I bought it. I have found facial hair to be the most stubborn, armpit hair next and then leg hair,least stubborn. I would recommend, for sensitive areas, to apply an icepack after a session to cool the skin down. I would also, not laser straight after a shower - wait a few hours for the skin to calm down, otherwise, you are at risk of a reaction. This purple device is quicker than the green, which is a blessing to me. The only problem with it is that it doesn't always flash and I have to try it on a different part of the body to get it to flash and then start again. I think this is a design fault but I'm keeping it for the time-being as it works otherwise and I have already returned one. I'm not sure I would...
