Great for oily skin, but not much of an exfoliator, 24 April 2011

I have oily skin in my T-zone that bleeds through my make up during the day.I previously used another daily exfoliator though I decided to try this to tackle the oil.

It is easy to wash off and when used with the matching moisturiser on a morning before make up did indeed stop much of the oil - so its a winner there.

Though in terms of being an exfoliator it is not much use. There is very little in this wash that exfoliates your skin and my skin become worse as time went on. It started to feel bumped and rough and I went back to my previous exfoliator that made my skin feel great from the first use.

If you are after a good exfoliator I recommend

It is 'Oil Free' so that helps.

If you are after a good oil balancing wash, I can recommend Simple Clear...

Great face wash for combination or oily skin, 23 Mar. 2010

I love the Simple range. It cleans really well without irritation or dryness and this product is no exception.I have combination skin that can become quite oily but this cleanser works really well; just add a little water and smooth over skin for a few minutes then rinse off. The little beads exfoliate the skin lightly, leaving it lovely and soft yet not dry like some exfoliators can do. I'd agree with the other review here that the beads don't work on blackheads but I do think it helps to keep spots at bay if used on a daily basis.All in all, I absolutely love this face wash, one of the best I have used for oily or combination skin, highly recommended.

Squeeky clean skin, 31 May 2014

This exfoliating wash has enough exfoliating and cleaning properties to be used everyday without being too harsh on the skin. My skin literally feels squeeky clean and polished, and I only have to use an actual scrub about two to three times a week.The only downside to this product is that you need quite a lot of water to make it foam properly, which makes it very easy to actualy accidentally rinse it off your hands while you're trying to get it to foam (I wash my face in the shower), and also makes me question whether I'm getting enough product on my skin to clean it properly.In the end it usually works out though, so still 4/5 :)
