Wee Scot for a bonny shave, 12 April 2013
This IS a very small brush, but it is also superb. It lathers brilliantly, feels incredibly comfortable on the skin, easily holds enough soap for a second, even third pass, and just puts the lather where you want it to go without holding loads unnecessarily to flush down the sink like many of its bigger brothers. For everyday use I find it perfect, and for travel it fits perfectly into an empty La Toja soap stick tube: another advantage of its small size, of course, is that it dries so much quicker too, an important consideration when travelling and therefore not able to leave to dry as one would at home. My old Edwin Jagger best badger brush is no longer to be seen in the bathroom cupboard!Unless you have a face the size of a rugby pitch, this seems to me to be perfection.PS It's worth shopping around!

Great travel brush, 14 Feb. 2014

I travel a lot. It's nice to have a decent shave when you wake up in some random hotel. So I just keep two travel wash kits ready to go, so I can just throw them in a bag. I have the Simpsons major Beeching which has a cunning reverse thread to protect the brush in its own case, and a German brushed metal travel brush that looks like a shotgun barrel that screws together for travel with only one click. Both of these are stupidly expensive £80 plus.

I prefer this little guy for a third of the cost. Biggest issue with travel brushes is leaving them wet. This one is so much smaller if you dry it carefully and find a suitable case - an empty roll of boots dental floss fits it perfectly - there is much less moisture. It's so much smaller it's much easier to pack. It's tiny. I was hugely surprised that it creates plenty of foam for me.

The major Beeching is great but almost three times the size. Takes 3x longer to dry. The German one is great too, but sometimes...

A great shaving brush for travel, 21 Dec. 2015
An excellent little shaving brush. The lather that can be produced with this brush is astonishing given the tiny size of the brush.
