A luxurious cream scrub to help slough away the dull, outer layer of skin and reveal the new, brighter looking complexion that lies beneath. To use: Cleanse face thoroughly and pat dry. With damp fingertips, massage the crystals into the treatment area (face or body) for up to 5 minutes. Rinse area thoroughly and pat dry. Use 1-2 times per week for glowing results, or every second night for acne/congested skins. Do not use everyday. You will see visible improvement in the quality of skin texture from the first application. Prior to use conduct a patch test on a small section of the treatment area and wait 24 hours. Do not use on broken, damaged or irritated skin. If irritation develops, discontinue use.

I love these Skin Doctors Exfoliating Crystals and although they are expensive I think that the results are worth it. Skin Doctors products are completely new to me and when I received the exfoliating crystals I wasn't sure what to expect.
At fifty six years of age, the skin on my face often looks grey, tired, dry and 'old'. I do use facial scrubs but nothing as elaborate as 'exfoliating crystals'. This product comes in a white 100ml tube with lift up lid.
I have been using this scrub for just over a week and so far I like what I see in the mirror. Skin Doctors Exfoliating Crystals is a cream based scrub containing micro beads, that when used feels slight gritty. I followed the instructions and cleansed my face before use, then using damp fingertips I massaged a small amount of the scrub with circular motions on to my face and neck. This is a weekly exfoliator for your face. The instructions recommend spending 3-5 minutes of circular massaging of the cream scrub. After 5 minutes the top layer of your skin will have been exfoliated away, therefore not something to use on a daily basis. It is very effective and my skin feels very clean, fresh and smooth afterwards.
Removing the layer of dead skin makes a subsequent moisturiser even more effective as it doesn't have to penetrate the old skin layer first. The night cream I use from Skin Doctors really feels good after this. It's tempting to use the exfoliator more often, but it would be too harsh to use more than every few days. I use it just once a week and I spend some time 'pampering'!
As with a product of this quality, a small amount (a pea-sized amount) is all that is needed which makes what seems like a somewhat expensive product to be much better value that other lesser priced similar products.
