I mainly wanted to try a different Retinol product to the one that I was already using and the sample size you can buy is ideal for a trial sample. Then I saw these two items on offer (Retinol and Hydra Boost) as a duo for £10.99 so I thought why not. I am still using the Retinol, you only need a small amount and it goes a long way, but I am really impressed! The Retinol is described as a serum but it is more like a cream at least in comparison to the one that I already had from a competitor, and I prefer it that it is not so runny. I will definitely buy it again when this little tube is finished and it will be replacing my other one which is a lot more expensive but in my opinion not so effective.As for the Hydra Boost: I have found that it is a good base for make-up.

Seemed to have a negative effect, 19 April 2017

Didn't seem to be effective - not sure if it is because it doesn't have vitamin C? Anyway, it states retinol at highest allowable EU concentration (0.5%) but some products on amazon have 2.5%. I actually felt this made wrinkles worse.
