This serum from Skinapeel comes in a 10 ml bottle. In my opinion, the bottle looks very nice. The serum does not leave my skin greasy after application and soaks in quick.

While I am well aware that skin care takes a while to work, after 3 weeks of daily usage twice a day I would expect some results. My fine lines and wrinkles are the same as on day 1. I assume there is way too little of beneficial ingredients for the product to actually work, perhaps too watered down.

As you only get 10 ml and the price is £9 at the moment, I think this is not worth it personally. For me it did nothing and for this price per 10 ml you can get high end cosmetics with verified results.

Overall, I cannot recommend it myself for the reasons stated above but perhaps it does work for someone.

When I was asked if I would like this product in return for an honest and unbiased review I jumped at the chance as I had never used a Collagen Serum before. I have done some research into Collagen as I had heard that it was invaluable for ageing skin which is what I have.

Collagen is a protein which holds the whole body together and it's found in bones, muscles, skin and tendons. When we are young our body makes unlimited Collagen but, by the time we reach 40 this has slowed down and by the time we are in our 60's this has slowed down to a trickle. It's difficult to prevent Collagen decline but it can be accelerated by :-

High sugar intake makes collagen dry, brittle and weak

Smoking - chemicals in the tobacco damage collagen and elastin causing the skin to sag

Sunlight - UV Ray's cause collagen to break down at an increased rate so it's vital to wear sunscreen.
