For a long time I've been clippering my hair to 0 just to avoid the hassle of maintenance. I'd been doing that with the clipper end of a Philips Bodygroom (the plus being that I can do that in the shower), but I lost the charger recently and needed something quick so went for this after seeing all the positive reviews. All I can say is that it really is worth the premium. What was taking me approx 10 minutes, took me just 3-4 with this. When it arrived it was fully charged, I find it really comfortable to hold, intuitive to use, and a really close shave. I've never bladed my head, so I can't compare to that feeling, but it is much much closer than the 0 that my clippers managed, and feels "shaved", it took 3 days growth for my head to get back to that "0" look with the clippers. Your mileage may vary depending on your hair I suppose, but for me this was great. It does come with a 2 pin American style plug for the charger, but this plugged straight into the 110v part of...

Considering that it only arrived this afternoon and I don't normally like reviewing something so quickly after receiving it, but I am so impressed that if I had the money I would definatly buy the company.
Amazon and others have had a fair old bit of my disposable income with various razors and shavers, with the biggest problem being the indifferent results you experience when trying to shave your head. Oh there are numerous videos and even whole websites devoted to the art and friends and acquaintances only to willing to suggest all sorts of ideas that they know work and exactly how you need to hold that razor and what angle to attack at... only for the results to be indifferent and then a few days growth make you wish you could afford to pay a barber to do it full time... and the incredible cost that would incur.
So 5 hours ago, when I popped down the road to collect my parcel from the local Amazon locker, it was fingers crossed that I hadn't just wasted yet...

I have zone clipped once a week for a number of years, then wet shaved both my head and face on special occasions and holidays. I recently felt much better like this and felt that it was time to find a way that I could shave both my head and face every other day with minimum effort.
Having looked at a number of products on the market I choose to purchase the Bald Eagle, I told a work college about my purchase and he said very little that than had I had any problems replacing the foils!!
Now after only two months I totally understand what he was saying, I used to the Bald Eagle with shaving foam and washed out as per the instructions, then one of the foil came adrift. Initially I was not concerned as it appeared that the wet clean had not cleared everything and this gave me the opportunity to clean with the brush provided and snap the foil back into position.
However all the foils & springs now continue fall out. The Amazon policy will not refund me, so I have been given...
