Amazing lipstick this was one of 3 that I purchased and these are now my go-to lipsticks. This is more red/brown undertones than the photo would have you believe but it's gorgeous for that vampy look, highly pigmented with staying power and just like my MAC in terms of overall quality.

This lipstick has an amazing matte finish and is a perfect colour i think for all skin types (i have quite fair skin) I also bought the shade mulberry, which is more of a sheen finish. I wore this on a night out and it was very long lasting. For the best results a couple of layers need to be put on but if you're just after a tint, one coat will be enough.

It's good but most definitely not purple., 23 May 2014
I purchased this in the hopes of getting some goth lipstick. I should have listened to the reviews. As many other reviewers said, this is not purple. This is red. Far too red for just a bad photo to make it look purple. It's still dark enough to look goth and a few of my friends have commented I look like a vampire but I can't give a high star rating to something that has clearly either used the wrong photo or the photo has been taken with the camera on a mobile phone. I do recommend it but only if you're looking for dark red. This is not purple in the slightest.EDIT: It's my own fault I thought it was purple. I didn't read the description properly, it does specifically say red. I was confused as it came up as the top result for my search of "Dark purple lipstick." However, it is still a very different colour from the picture. I have increased my rating (From two stars to four stars) and will probably be buying again.
