Good, but the blusher part isn't as expected, 28 July 2014

I had been eyeing up this product for quite a while, watching tutorials on contouring with make up, and at this price I thought I'd go ahead and buy it! I was really pleased with the bronzer part which you can build up for the desired effect with its matte finish which makes it look quite natural. However, i then started using the blusher part with a different brush to ensure that the colours did not mix together in the palette, and found that the colour didn't really show up on my cheeks no matter how much i applied, it was just very shiny just like the highlighter should be! I then blended the two parts together on my face which dulled the sine down a little bit, but i just expected more colour to show. I therefore used a blusher i already had to give me colour and then finished off with the highlighter. Overall i was really happy with the way i looked, perfect for special nights out and events but perhaps a little too much for my every day wear as i don't normally wear much make up...

Such a good palette. The blush is lovely, very similar to NARS's blush in Orgasm. The highlighter is also great, with some sparkle but not too much to make it unwearable during the day. The bronzer is a really nice neutral toned brown that isn't too dark, and is the perfect mix of warm and cool so that is can be used both for bronzing and contouring. I've recommended this to lots of my friends and I always take it with me when I'm travelling as it is so handy and compact.
