Not suitable for long hair!, 10 May 2012

The very first time I used this, my hair got horribly tangled on the spines, and I ended up having to cut it out with scissors - yikes!Now, you might decide that this was due to my own incompetence (which I admit is a possibility - but I was being very careful, so I don't think so) - but I think basically the combination of slim barrel and stiff spines, although great in theory, means that it is very easy for long strands of hairs to get arranged over the spines at slightly varying angles (no matter how careful you are), which then become very difficult - to - impossible to unwrap.For very short hair (maybe 3" or shorter) I think this could be great, because it is easy to wrap your hair around, and the design means that there is almost no risk of you burning yourself on the barrel. But I would steer well clear of this if you have long hair (any greater than about 6" of length I would guess would be a pretty big tangling risk)

This heated brush is so much better than those available in the shops. The design is radically different from the usual products in this range. I agree with the previous user about how safe it is - you will never burn yourself with this one. I like how small, light and convenient it is and I prefer it over the EdgeStick.

Great little hair Curler, 22 Jan. 2012

Having just bought a more expensive hair curler, which was not exactly what we wanted, we bought this to see if it worked any better. My wife is pleased with the result and uses this in preference to the other. It is small, and neat and can be easily packed for travel.
