I already have a corded hair clipper set but sometimes because they are corded it means you are limited to the length of the cord which can make cutting somebody's hair a bit awkward .I usually get the job of cutting my two son's hair as they are loath to spend £10 at the local barber's shop.

Previously I have put up with using corded clippers because I was always worried that rechargeable clipper would pack in halfway through a haircut and that would not be a good look for a haircut !!! But when I saw that this clipper set came with an extra rechargeable battery I thought that this might be a rechargeable set worth getting and after seeing the positive customer reviews I made my mind up to get these.

Great cordless clippers! two batteries means you won't have to worry about the charge running out mid cut!, 25 Aug. 2016

I ordered the Sminiker Quiet Hair Clippers through Amazon Prime. They arrived in the standard Amazon box, with the clippers themselves being shipped in their own white box that has a window to show the clippers off.

You will notice on the box that there are pictures of the various accessories inside, please don’t get stressed about the picture of the plug which depicts it to be the international two pin type. I can confirm that the clippers are shipped with the three prong UK power adapter.

Opening the box you will find, apart the actual clippers themselves;

x1 – UK power adapter

x1 – Cleaning / maintenance brush

x1 – Trimming / edging scissors (Stainless Steel)

x2 – Rechargeable batteries (one already installed in the clippers)

x4 – Attachment combs

As a keen experienced barber, I jumped at the chance to review these “professional clippers” I was sceptical at first, as to whether this product would make the grade, but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Unlike a lot of similar products from China, the packaging was good and the instructions and information on the box was clearly displayed. The contents included: clippers, scissors, two batteries, cleaning brush, UK charging adaptor and four combs. The clippers I received were the gold colour, (I’m not usually a fan of gold products) but they did look premium. The build quality was excellent; it features a plastic body and a ceramic main blade strip. The twist action selector and on off switch felt strong, clicky and durable. The smaller white plate on the clippers can be adjusted, with a simple twist action. Adjustments go from 0.8mm - 1.5mm - 2mm which is great for that precision crew cut. My short...
