Having recently purchased an electric razor for the first time and not wishing to have a dry shave I was reccomended this product by a friend.The oil works a treat and softens the beard prior to shaving with the electric razor.I have also used it as a base before applying shaving gel for a wet shave with great results.The product has a great aroma and leaves a fresh feel to the skin.Well done.

I've been using Somerset's shaving oil for quite a few years now, and won't shave without it. Instead of getting small cuts in the skin or shaving rash, a very small amount of this product rubbed over the skin just before shaving makes things a whole lot easier and leaves me with a better shave. One bottle will generally last me for the best part of one year despite it being a tiny bottle (easy to carry in a bag when away from home).I've tried alternative brands to this one, but always come back to Somersets for the best results. If there is one negative point to make, it's that unless I rinse my face thoroughly after use or take a shower, then I'm left with a slightly clinical smell on my skin but even that is not unpleasant. Highly recommended.

Perfect for traveling!, 3 Feb. 2014
This is the perfect product to take traveling, especially backpacking. It is only 12ml usually but you get 15ml for the same price as 12ml. It is so compact it will fit perfectly into the resealable 1 liter zip lock bags you need to show at airport security, making this ideal for the minimalist/lightweight backpacker. There is a lovely fresh and natural smell to this shaving oil and ingredients used are meant to be natural too so it will be good on your skin. The amazing thing is that you could get around 90 shaves out of this if your shaving every 3 to 4 days or even more. You just use 2 to 3 drops each time. An amazing price for what you get from an award winning product.
