I was really reluctant to buy a BeautyBlender when there are so many cheaper alternatives available, but I caved after reading all the amazing reviews. I really want to say that the RealTechniques sponge is just as good, but there is a noticeable difference and I am very much converted.I tried cleaning my BeautyBlender with dish soap as many had recommended, but found that there were some stubborn spots that were clinging onto foundation no matter what I did. So I tried using a bar of soap instead, and amazingly it got all of the foundation out! It looks brand new and I'm very very pleased.

Brilliant little egg shaped tool, 10 July 2015

Love this little thing. It can spread on liquid foundation (which is so far all I've tried) but it works really well. I have a disability and oddly shaped hands so this little bad boy is perfect for me! I didn't realize for ages after i bought it that it could be used wet, which actually helps with the spread of foundation. Make sure you remember to give it a little wash with the soap otherwise it begins to become a little manky and the discolouration of the foundation builds up to make it look a little gross
