Good quality precision tweezers, great for splinters, 27 Dec. 2015

When it comes to tweezers, it's important to understand their are different types; some have a slanted edge, some flat, and some like these come to a precision point (please see attached images).

This probably sounds obvious, but I've noted other reviewers have removed stars for reasons like, they're not as easy to grab an eyebrow hair with as flat tweezers. No they're not, precision tweezers require you to be precise; when you have a whole flat side to work with you're much more likely to catch the hair even if you're slightly "off" as there is a bigger surface area.

Precision tweezers are great for ingrowing hairs, splinters of wood or glass. They can be used for hair removal, but may take practice and can be more painful than angled tweezers if you miss the hair and pinch skin. Some beauticians I've noticed use this type after threading, waxing or tweezing with the angled type, to get a very precise finish removing exact individual hairs.

First impressions is great with the tweezers coming in a handy little storage tube along with a rubber protector over the end of the tweezers.Being a gas engineer, I'm always needing a nice set of tweezers for when I get a difficult to remove split from something like wirewool and some pipe burr stuck in my finger and I thought these would do the job, which they do.However one problem is, they are too good for that, I can't let them be wasted as splinter removal tweezers when these are the best tweezers that I have owned and are easily used for removing ingrown hairs, very fine hairs and very small hairs.You can see from the pictures how fine the point is and now that I've had a set of tweezers like this, I don't think I could use any other set that doesn't have the same kind of head.Please note I received this item at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

These tweezers are not for normal hair plucking, you can't work quickly with those; they are perfect for plucking out small and hard-to-remove splinters of any material and, most importantly, ingrowing hairs. I have always suffered from this problem (ingrowing hairs) and I use to deal with it with normal tweezers, but they usually make more harm than solving the problem; they usually leave marks and even small cuts. I frankly had no idea about these precision tweezers until I've bought bought these, and I;m really glad I have. I am absolutely impressed by how they can remove even the finest hair under the skin easily and without any marks left, all I need is to be patient and careful.
