Great for dark hair, 20 Aug. 2011

Bought this to touch up my roots - I'm naturally very dark brown and I've got a white blonde streak. I just needed one application to take it super light and I just threw on a toner to bring it all white again. The separate sachets are great, as it means i don't have to mess around with resealing bags of powder. Will recommend and buy again!

DO NOT cover your hair with tinfoil with this stuff in it, 17 April 2015

I had semi long dyed black hair, and used this bleach kit to try lighten my hair, in order to get my natural dark blonde hair back. I think it would have worked out okay, but I had a really bad accident. Basically after I had put it all in my hair (two packs, wasn't sure I had it all covered with one) I covered it with tinfoil, which I had read somewhere would help, DO NOT DO THAT. Seriously. After maybe 20-30 minutes, it started burning really bad (it had hurt like hell from the start, but up to this point it was tolerable) and I could literally hear it sizzling. I think what happened is that the product started some chemical reaction that created a lot of heat, which couldn't escape because of the tinfoil, and so of course burned by head.) Obviously I immediately ripped the tinfoil off my head and rushed into the shower, still with my clothes on because it hurt so bad, and rinsed it all out.

I am now left with a burned scalp (it still hurts, hours later), and hair that ranges...
