Long-lasting mascara stays perfect all day, 20 Aug. 2016

My first impressions of this mascara were that the design of the packaging is very nice -- the gold tube feels expensively packaged and is comfortable to hold while applying the mascara. It has a matte finish, unlike some mascaras where the tube is shiny, which feels nice and avoids the brush slipping out of your hand.

The mascara itself is great to apply -- you can layer on multiple coats but I usually stick to two. Otherwise I found it gets too claggy and starts sticking my eyelashes together. Not a good look! I would prefer a slightly smaller brush to apply it with, as this brush is quite large and it's easy to apply too much.

It stays on well all day and doesn't run or flake. I've even worn it to the gym when I've had a strenuous (i.e. sweaty!) workout and it stayed on perfectly.

It's a real shame that Stila isn't on the ethical companies list for not testing on animals (they sell products in China where animal testing is a legal requirement), as I...

Gives me the look I want in half the time, 11 Aug. 2016

Even the applicator has a touch of Hollywood glamour, the five and half inch high tube is fatter than usual, promising what it delivers, a really luscious set of lashes. The uniquely shaped wand is spiral and uneven which works well for distributing the more than generous dose of mascara. Don't put too much on, or you may actually see your lashes fluttering as you look out through them.

I love the effect it has on my eyes; more wide-awake looking, well defined and hopefully more appealing. I was unable to discern from the packaging how this product is best removed at the end of the day, and so I had a good chat with a friendly member of staff - Stila is based in Southgate, London, and has a contact number on their website. They explained that I would need eye make up remover or a cleanser that takes off eye make up gently. I had wondered, because nowadays some mascaras can be rubbed away under a shower or in the bath. Believe the hype… it works wonders on short lashes!, 18 Aug. 2016

My mum loves this mascara (I ordered this specifically to try it out on her). Her lashes are quite short, but we were both impressed at the dramatic results. The product gave noticeable results; her lashes definitely looked longer and thicker, even from a distance. The mascara is long lasting and we didn't notice any flaking or running, but she didn't have any problems removing it at night. It's presented in attractive packaging and certainly looks a little high-end.
