this item was a purchase for my girlfriend so the review is done in her words so as to make it as honest as possible

I have straight hair with ends that go a bit frizzy when it's ready for cutting, so I sometimes use straighteners to calm down my frizziness and get it looking nice and smooth and shiny. My hair does tangle too, as it's long and fine. These detangling straghtening brush were great for me, they heat up quickly so no waiting around, and they're easy and simple to use. The cord rotates 360 degrees so no tangling of the cord either. I didn't use it to massage my hair as all I wanted it for was the ends really, also I have to say I'm not keen on the idea of massaging your hair with a heated iron as to me that seems like adding unnecessary heat to your hair for not much benefit, when we all know that the LESS heat you can get away with on your hair, the less damage it will sustain. This is just my honest opinion, others may feel differently. But for the purpose I wanted...

I have been using standard straighteners for years and always found them easy to use, with the only issue being the size of them. They are normally long and fairly heavy. When I saw these straighteners I thought great, heated brush straighteners. My hair is best described as thick and hard to control.

The brush came well wrapped in a bag within a strong box. As well as the brush and a lengthy attached power cord (approx 7 feet) with a fused 13 a plug, it came with a White material bag with instructions. The instructions were comprehensive and easy to follow. which makes it simple to use. Press the on button on the arm on the left hand side, and a blue screen will come on, at the top of the brush. Set your desired temperature using the + and - rubber buttons and wait for the brush to count up on the screen until it reaches the desired temperature. The brush head has 2 types of bristle, the inner are black small red bulb heads and the outer are normal black bristles. It takes less...

I had high hopes for this straigtening brush. Firstly it is quite heavy and takes some time to warm up. I had medium curly hair and using regular straighteners gives me a sleek, frizz free finish. This brush is like running a warm brush through my hair, rips half out and leaves it frizzy and dull! Don't waste your money, returning these and will stick my straighteners for frizz free hair!
