This is most definitely not "run your fingers thru my hair" spray. Unless you want to drag your beloved around for the rest of the day. However, it is extremely effective in holding my very fine, flyaway, frizzy hair in place for hours, and although it would take a pick axe to get thru initially, by the end of the day it's easy to brush most of it out although it needs shampooing to remove completely. The scent is ok, better than most, but not as nice as their iced raspberry and vanilla hairspray. It's a salon size can so a little unwieldy to use on the back of your own head (ok if you have someone willing to twirl around wafting it over you) but is very good value for the amount you get and how little you need to use.
