I BOUGHT THIS STAND MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE PRICE. The stand itself is well constructed and has a solid feel about it. I use it to hold my edwin jagger pure Badger brush and it fits just right. I also own the merkur futur. But the neck of the razor is slightly to wide for the stand. But if you put it in the stand just below the setting numbers on the merkur it fits just fine. The stand is still well balanced.i think most de razors will fit under the head of the razor no problem. Overall I think the stand is a Bargain at this price. Plus very quick delivery.

A functional and pleasant chrome-plated stand for your safety razor and brush, 4 Dec. 2015

The purpose of this little stand is to hold a double-edged safety razor and shaving brush. It is necessary to hang a shaving brush after using it in order to allow it to dry, preventing the growth of mildew in the knot of the brush. Hanging the razor allows the blade to dry, preventing rust, and also stops the razor being knocked off a surface and damaged.

This stand is around 17cm tall, just under 8cm across the base and just shy of 10cm across the hanger. The hanger opening for the shaving brush is 3cm across and the one for the razor is 1.6cm across. It's a small addition to any bathroom surface and, with a shiny chrome-plated surface with grippy accents, it is also a pleasant one.
