Value nail pliers, 11 April 2011

These pliers had mixed reviews and I was tempted not to buy them, however all of the alternatives had similarly diverse comments and so I went ahead.I am delighted that I did.Even my toenails - battered and thick from years of sports activities - pose no problems for these pliers.Previous pliers that I have tried have had shorter and more curved blades and failed to do the job properly, the longer and less curved blades offered by the SURE pliers enable you to insert them under the nail and make a clean cut.I would have awarded 5 stars except for the fact that, on my version at least, the clip to hold them closed is difficult to engage.In terms of functionality and value for money they are really five star pliers.

An excellent product at a sensible price which arrived early. Unlike another I bought and had to return these cut the nails crisply and easily. Highly recommended.

I have tried cheaper clippers in the past but found them unsatisfactory. Although a little more expensive I definitely recommend these clippers - they are well made and do the job well, especially for tough or thick nails.
