I was so sceptical about this product. I've used spray on deodorant for so long I wasn't at all sure how a cream formula would compare and, let's be honest, with something as personal as body odour you don't necessarily want to take a chance.

I'm pleased to tell you that I shouldn't have worried. Sure Maximum is a lovely, rich cream formula that smells feminine without being overpowering and dries quickly without any talcum type residue. As far as preventing wetness; it certainly does.

SURE recommended you apply the deodorant before you go to bed...

the best antiperspirant by far, 15 April 2014

So having been on the hunt for an antiperspirant that actually does what it says for the last 2+ years I decided to give this one a try. I've never been a fan of roll-ons and always tend to stick with sprays, which just do not work for me anymore..... even prescription strength Driclor doesn't do much for me (and makes my underarms sting and itch like mad).

So this week during a desperate search for something, anything, to keep me smelling nice all day (I was at the point of needing to wash 2/3 times a day just to try and smell clean. .... the joy of hormones.....) I came across this in Boots and decided I had nothing to lose by trying it..

I'm so glad I did!!!! Now on day 3 of using it, only applying once a day (I do it in the mornings after a shower) and when I next shower my underarms are STILL dry! No itching or stinging on application, and no more ineffectiveness!

Yes it's a few pounds more than the average antiperspirant, but it more than...

Worth the money, 5 Jun. 2013

Sure Maximum Protection claims to work for 48 hours, providing wetness protection, odour fighting and moisturising your skin. It recommends applying the product before bed, so that the protection builds up while you sleep. I did initially use it this way, but have since returned to applying after showering and both seem equally effective, although I think the 48 hour claim is a little ambitious as I do sometimes have to reapply during the day.

This is a cream product. You twist the dial to push up the cream and it clicks with each twist, so you have full control over how much you apply. The cream glides on easily, it doesn't dry the skin and it absorbs quickly - although you do need to give it some time to dry to avoid white marks on your clothes. The Confidence fragrance is fresh yet subtle and isn't overpowering.

I have previously struggled to find an antiperspirant that offers me strong enough protection without irritating my skin, but I have been using this...
