I have tried a few eyebrows waxes and none seemed to work. I thought I would give this a go. So I placed it in the microwave as directed. This is my main warning. When you take the wax back out of the microwave, the top of the wax can stay solid like a crust over the top of molten lava! I thought it hadn't melted so I gently pressed the top crust of wax with a spoon and it popped showering my arm with hot wax. It's removed a few layers of skin and I have two large burn areas which are weeping. So when you take the wax out of the microwave and it doesn't look melted beware as it may be boiling underneath! Break the wax crust very very carefully!

Used this twice and it works perfectly. It removes most, if not all unwanted hairs from my face, and it doesn't leave a heat rash or any other kind of blemish. The tub is rather small, but that is to be expected as it is pretty cheap. It comes with a wooden stick, but seeing as it can be used more than once because the chances of using all of the wax up in one go are fairly slim, I would suggest buying some cheap wooden sticks if you don't already own some. You don't need to use waxing strips - you can literally just pull the wax off your face with your fingers - but I prefer to use strips anyway. You can also microwave it, so no wax heater is needed.

Quick, easy and Very handy, 8 May 2013

I first came across this product when in US while strolling in Walgreens pharmacy. Was excited when it was available in UK as well. I have used numerous products for facial hair removal but was never satisfied with any of them. Am too sensitive to creams and lotions and every trip to salon for treading or waxing was too painstaking.

Surgi is THE product that comes to rescue always in past 3 years. It is handy, always available and super easy. It uses microwave for melting and voila no hassle of buying any wax warmers or heating water!!! It does not require any strips or cloth thus saving me loads of time. I mainly use for chin and upper lips and It helps me stay hair-free for 8-10 days. One bottle lasts for upto 6-7 applications and so much value for money. Haven't had any side effects until now!!

Why I have given it four stars is, it sometime tends to become a little messy, esp if you apply it on your face in wrong consistency. You need apply when it just between creamy and...
